Seeing as I found using Adobe Premiere Pro rather easy to understand, I was excited to use Adobe Illustrator. I had never used Illustrator before, so I did not really have any expectations. The first video I watched was an introduction to graphic design, by Tony Harmer (this video was 1hr and 12 mins). The reason for watching this video first was because he was explaining how to create a poster. I found it interesting how he was able to make a poster from a sketch (and use it as a template). Even though I had a different idea for my poster, I still think I can take points from his video and use them for my poster. In Harmer’s video, he gives an introduction to graphic design, and goes on to explain how to create the poster, and finally wrap the file.
The next video I watched was Illustrator 2021 Quickstart by Kladi Vergine. This video was 41 mins and showed the basics of how to use illustrator. Vergine had included things such as creating a document, using the pen tool, and finishing touches, such as exporting your work.
I like how both the videos had various sections, and similar to Premiere Pro, if I wanted to focus on how to do a particular thing, I could just watch that part of the video.
From what I have watched, Adobe Illustrator reminds me of Photoshop, which I had difficulty using. Hopefully, I am able to make my Poster with ease (unlike Photoshop).
